Brought to explore the Americas with the Spanish during the 16th century. <\/p>\n<p>Today Criollo breeds are native to several countries including <a href=\"\/breeds\/argentine-criollo\">Argentina<\/a>, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil and Colombia.
