Andino Pony comes from the high peaks of the Andes in Peru. They are a smart, robust and surefooted breed, honed by natural selection in the tough terrain they inhabit.
\n<\/p>\n

Origins<\/h3>\n

As with all breeds in the Americas, the Andino pony is descendant from the horses of Spanish Conquistadors. Over the centuries natural selection has created a smaller, more compact animal well suited to the tough local terrain and climate of the area. This breed is rarely found outside of Peru. <\/p>\n
