{"id":284,"date":"2010-08-09T00:39:49","date_gmt":"2010-08-09T00:39:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theequinest.com\/breeds\/?p=284"},"modified":"2025-01-28T23:42:30","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T23:42:30","slug":"black-sea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theequinest.com\/breeds\/black-sea","title":{"rendered":"Black Sea Horse"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Intro<\/h3>\n<p>Also called the Chernomor and Chernomorskaya, the Black Sea Horse is very rare and extinct in pure form.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Native to the coastal areas of the Krasnodar region of Russia, the development of the Black Sea Horse began at the end of the 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>They are of saddle type and carry <a href=\"\/breeds\/arabian-horse\">Arabian<\/a>, <a href=\"\/breeds\/nogai\">Nogai<\/a>, <a href=\"\/breeds\/kabarda\">Kabarda<\/a> (among other mountain breeds), <a href=\"\/breeds\/don\">Don<\/a> and <a href=\"\/breeds\/english-thoroughbred\">Thoroughbred<\/a> blood.
