Intro<\/h3>\n

Also called Gondo, the Bandiagara horse is a mid-sized, docile horse breed that can be found in Mali and Niger on the African continent.
\n<\/p>\n

Origins<\/h3>\n

This breed is a Dongola type with fragile and lovely facial features. For the most part, this breed type is suited to the climatic harshness of the area and highly adaptable. Numbers for the Bandiagara in DAD-IS haven’t been updated since 1992, when there were less than 10,000 animals. <\/p>\n

Average height 14.3 – almost 15 hands<\/p>\n
