Huzule is the Austrian type.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Of ancient origins, the breed originated in a region of the eastern Carpathians, in what is now Romania. Named for a small tribe named Hutsul who were perhaps the first to discover and domesticate them. The Hutsul lived a semi-nomadic lifestyle and they helped to spread this handsome little horse throughout the Carpathian region.
