Hi Alicia, My 15-year-old granddaughter is in LOVE with horses and spends every spare minute at the stables where her own horse Hidalgo boards. I've been looking far and wide for horse alphabet cross stitch patterns so I can do her name for Hidalgo's stall, but have yet to find anything. But your poster has exactly what I was looking for! Perhaps you could get someone to convert the letters into cross stitch patterns -- bet that would sell as well!

Hi Alecia,
I just looked at the work on your website and it is beautiful. You have a gift for bringing the animals to almost life. I know you must get numerous requests, but hopefully you can reply with a positive response. I am the board VP of the Bedford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit (25-1415992) animal shelter in Everett, Pennsylvania. Typically we care for about 60 dogs and 70 cats on a daily basis. We operate solely on donations and fund raisers. Our mission is mainly dogs and cats, but last year we rescued 3 abused horses last year. We are a rural area and many individuals have horses.
On May 18, 2014 we will be holding our annual walk for the animals and auction. Would you please consider donating some autographed horse prints for our auction? Having seen the beauty of your work I know it will create excitement and be the top item of our auction. If you want to know more about the shelter we are on Facebook (The Bedford County Humane Society, 7,800 followers) and on the web at: www.bchsonline.org.
If you can grant this request and help our animals, the prints can be sent to:

Wow, that first painting really captured me. It reminds me of my gelding, Red. The color is so like his.
The horse alphabet is spectacular. I'd like to purchase one.

Alecia, you are really hitting your stride! These new paintings are absolutely fabulous. breathtaking. I love the subtle use of pastels as backgrounds and REALLY admire the rendering of the the rider's clothes in CONTROLLED as well as the horses' faces in the closeups. The compositions are outstanding. Keep up the good work!

Alecia's work is beautiful & interestingly enough I think the cat is my favorite (besides the horse letters of course).

As you know, I started acquiring your artwork when you were only 12 or 13 years old and ALL of it is prominently displayed throughout the house and always will be. Our latest was the watercolor of our dear cat Newt you surprised us with after we had just lost him to cancer in 2006- that work left Jim and I both in tears. It is on display only 3 feet away from me now as I write! Love ya!
