The Equine Celebration was great! I know it takes a lot to put so many wonderful events into one jam-packed day! The demonstrations and booths are very interesting and beneficial to riders of any age. I particularly enjoy the horse judging the most. It gives kids a chance to get the feel for it, and possibly look into it as a career. The 3 trainers training those horses within 2 or 3 days is quite entertaining and amazing as well! Thank you Council for putting on this wonderful event each and every year.

This was my third year to attend the celebration, and while I was not there for the entire schedule, thought this year was the best yet!

Thank goodness this IS held in the winter or we wouldn't be able to attend when things get so busy! It gives us a chance to learn new things and then apply them to our horses when the weather does get warm.

I saw the driving exhibition last year and it was very interesting.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your comment. You should direct your inquiry to the official website listed above.

The carriage and driving club demos sound like fun, be sure to let me know if they reinstate them (and if they decide summer is a better time of year). :)

Why have you eliminated the Breed Demonstrations from the Equine Council Days in Columbia, MO. Was especially looking forward to catching a glimpse of the KC Carriage & Driving Club demos! Also, why have this in the middle of the winter??
